Los Perros plot
Mariana is 42 years old and a member of the Chilean upper class who takes privileges for granted. Mariana still has the means to pass her days with fertility treatments, run an art gallery and learn to ride a horse. Her riding instructor Juan is 20 years her senior, a former cavalry officer known as The Colonel who has been investigating human rights violations in recent years. When Mariana begins an affair with her enigmatic teacher, she is confronted directly with the dictatorship for the first time.
