Littlerock plot

"Lost in love, language and Littlerock."

Rintaro and Atsuko, two Japanese, visit the US for the first time. They're on their way to San Francisco when their rental car breaks down in the desert town of Littlerock. Despite the cultural differences and language barrier – or perhaps because of it – they align themselves with the aimless young locals. One of them, the strange outcast Cory, who would like to go to Los Angeles to escape reality, is clearly impressed by Atsuko. But she has an awkward romance with another boy, even though they don't understand a word of each other. This little place, so very different from home, captivates Atsuko and she wants to hang out while Rintaro discovers its dark side. Embittered by what he sees, he leaves, leaving his sister stubbornly behind.
