Lijepa Vecer, Lijep Dan plot
Four close friends, Lovro, Nenad, Stevan, and Ivan, fought against the Oustashas and the Nazis by joining the partisans during World War II. Sixteen years later, they have become renowned filmmakers. In 1957, in communist Yugoslavia, their sexual orientation arouses suspicion, and a loyal supporter of the Communist Party named Emir is tasked with sabotaging their careers and lives. The pursuit of freedom turns into a struggle for survival for the artists, while Emir's convictions are put to the test.
