Lightning Bug plot

"There are monsters standing in his way."

A young man from the South of America is misunderstood in his small town. He dreams of going to Hollywood to try his luck as a make-up artist. However, several things in his life prevent him from pursuing his dream: his drunken stepfather who terrorizes his mother, a group of religious fanatics who want to destroy his work and the love for a girl who does not want to leave town.
