Rosewood plot

"In 1923, a black town in Florida was burned to the ground, its people murdered because of a lie. Some escaped and survived because of the courage and compassion of a few extraordinary people. This film is for them."

This film is based on the events in the town of Rosewood from 1923. At the end of the 90s it was discovered that not a single black person lived in this town. A lie from a white woman who says she was raped by a black man sparks a manhunt for everything 'black'.
