Les Sanguinaires plot

François is determined to let the hectic of the New Year's Eve festivities pass. Together with friends - and their children of all ages - he rents an island off the coast of Corsica. The adventure starts badly when the island's 'administrator', Stephane, shows up too late to receive his guests. Moreover, the accommodation on the island appears to be designed exclusively for a summer stay. While most of the guests, charmed by Stephane, are satisfied with the Spartan conditions, François withdraws further and further. In his eyes, there is a mysterious bond between Stephane and the island. When the great New Year's Eve countdown begins, tensions reach a climax.
