Les Princes plot

The venue is a suburb north of Paris. The film deals with the tensions faced by a 'settled' gypsy living on the urban periphery. Nara's family life is falling apart: he has evicted his wife because she no longer wants to have children with him, and he is also constantly arguing with his mother, who apparently is not getting used to his lifestyle. His efforts to make a living are at odds with the ubiquitous unemployment and racism in France.
