Les Équilibristes plot

Paris, early 1960s during the Algeria war. Marcel Spadice, writer, poet and playwright, homosexual and fascinated by the circus, met, through his girlfriend Hélène, a certain Franz-Ali Aoussine, whose father was a North African and his mother from Germany. He promises to help the young man realize his dream: to become a famous tightrope walker. Franz-Ali submits to his master's demands, but in so doing puts his life in danger.
