Painful courtroom drama about a “Me Too” case. The film highlights a rape from the opposite perspectives of the perpetrator and the perpetrator. the victim. What exactly happened and what we have to believe is left unclear in the film. Extramarital connections add extra color to the plot. Beautiful role by Charlotte Gainsbourg who struggles with conflicting loyalties.
The cleverly constructed drama gradually pulls you to the edge of your seat. An excellent movie.

Very good courtroom drama about a young woman, Mila, who accuses Alexandre of rape. The descriptions of sexual acts are often very raw and the fact that the accused and the victim come from the same newly formed family gives the story social relevance and makes it painful. The great final speech of Alexandre's lawyer is also a reflection that everyone should consider, especially in a society where people increasingly prepare their verdict in advance without any knowledge of the facts. So the interpretation is that both were not a sexual match at all. Alexandre's dominant sexuality was experienced by Mila as a rape and is therefore not so much about guilt and innocence.
