Leaving Metropolis plot

"When art inspires forbidden passion..."

David is a successful painter. His works have made him known and have brought him money, but he prefers to isolate himself. He gets his inspiration for painting from his own life experiences. When he decides it's better for him to get out and about again, he takes a job as a waiter in a small cafe. The very last thing he expects is to fall in love with Matt, the co-owner of the cafe. However Matt is married. In response, David starts painting portraits of Matt and of course that does not go unnoticed.
