Le Pavillon Brûle plot

The hard life in the mines is characterized by rivalry and jealousy. Denise, a young overseer, is courted by three engineers. But she is engaged to a miner. One day, a mistake causes damage to the mine. Out of jealousy, one of the engineers shifts the suspicions on the girl's betrothed. After an accident, fifteen employees in a collapsing shaft are buried under the rubble, including Denise's friend.
