Le Joueur de Violon plot
How a virtuoso violinist slides into the lowest echelons of society. Armand is disgusted by all the rehearsal. The neat world of concerts and recordings no longer interests him. He decides to play in the subway from now on. There he finds the loyal affection of a RATP employee, Lydia, and befriends one of the senior staff, Charles. With his classic play, he creates a friendlier atmosphere in the subway, but he also encounters hostile controllers. He sinks further and further into marginality and finally only plays the chaconne from Bach's 2nd suite for the homeless, in an abandoned station.
