Laagland plot

Slightly ironic drama about people in their thirties and forties in search of themselves and the art of living. The self-chosen death of a thirty-year-old Amsterdammer shakes the colorless existence of his upstairs neighbor (Marcel Musters). For the first time, the boy asks himself what he actually has to live for. In his search for the motives of his roommate, he falls in love with a woman who is renovating a rural hotel with her brother. He moves in with the two and starts a stormy relationship with the woman.
