La Vida No Vale Nada plot
Pablo (Pedro Infante) is an illiterate, alcoholic drifter. He leaves for the city, where he knows no one. The widow Cruz (Rosario Granados) gives him a job in her antique shop and he makes a success of it. Cruz's priest wants Cruz to fire him, but she doesn't care about his advice. She falls in love with Pablo, but after he gets drunk on her birthday, he reverts to his old and bad behavior towards the drink and the women.
