La Última Tierra plot
A man sits at his wife's deathbed. He feeds her, watches over her and reassures her. After she dies in the early morning, he takes care of her body. Loving, calmly executed acts evoke the relationship between two people who have shared a whole life together and are now separated from each other forever. She has fallen out of time, in which he must go on without direction. While he seeks guidance in practical deeds - digging a grave, washing the deceased - a sadness wells up in him for which the traditional mourning rituals fall short. He replies with a gesture as radical as death itself.
