La Tregua plot

Martín Santomé, a widower with three children, keeps an intimate diary about his daily life, the tensions within the family and his monotonous office job. When he is about to retire, he meets the young Laura Avellaneda and his life brightens up. Once they have overcome their fears about the big age difference, they enter into a loving relationship.
