La Trahison plot

During the Algerian Civil War in the early 1960s, French Lieutenant Roque and his men were positioned in the Algerian desert. Officially, he is there to reassure the population and to convince them of the good French intentions. His real task is to take out the FLN (Front de Liberation Nationale), the underground Algerian liberation army. Roque soon learns from his captain that an assassination attempt on him is presumably being plotted by some Algerian soldiers under his command. Roque doesn't believe it, but his conscience starts to gnaw.
