La Storia plot
In the 1940s, a half-Jewish mother works as a school teacher in Rome, jealously hiding her faith. During the vicissitudes of war, she is raped by a German soldier. She gives birth to his child who turns out to be an epileptic patient. Together with her two sons, the mother tries to endure the horrors of the war.
