Alphonse van Worden Y Gomerez, son of a Spanish nobleman, receives a harsh and virile upbringing. As a young man, he left the family business to settle at the court of the King of Spain in Madrid. During his journey, he will experience a series of fantastic adventures where he will be confronted with ghosts, spirits, demons and temptresses before finally undergoing the ultimate test: that of love.
