La Désenchantée plot
Seventeen-year-old Beth is about to take her exams and loves Rimbaud's poetry. After several disappointments with boys, she enters into a platonic relationship with 40-year-old Alphonse. The next day, Beth's sick mother sends her to a sugar daddy with orders to undress for him for money. However, this goes too far for Beth and she decides to leave her family after her exams, just like her great example Rimbaud.
