Philippe Tardieu lives with his mother and his two sisters in a suburb of Nantes. At a wedding party he meets the enigmatic Senta and it is love at first sight. But Senta has a rather peculiar philosophy of life. According to her, to really enjoy life you have to plant a tree, write a poem, make love to a person of the same sex and be able to kill someone.
