La Chambre Ardente plot
Stéphane, his brother Marc and his wife, spend their holidays in the castle of their uncle Mathias Desgrez. A journalist, Michel Boissard and his wife Marie are also guests. One night, while everyone is invited to a masquerade ball, old Mathias dies. He turns out to be poisoned. At the funeral, the governess Madame Henderson tells that she saw an old-fashioned woman enter Mathias's room. However, the castle has even more dark secrets to hide. There is an ancient curse on the family and Mathias turned out to be involved in black magic.
