La Belle Que Voilà plot

Jeanne Morel (Michèle Morgan) is a young ballet dancer who falls in love with Pierre Leroux (Henri Vidal), a hot-tempered artist. When Pierre finds her in another man's arms, he pulls out his gun. Jeanne, who is shot, manages to survive the drama, although her heart is irreparably damaged. Despite this, her love for Pierre has not diminished, because after recovery, Jeanne returns to ballet dancing to earn money, which she hopes to get Pierre out of prison.
