La Bella Gente plot
The architect Alfredo (Antonio Catania) and the psychologist Susanna (Monica Guerritore) are open-minded fifties with a youthful appearance. They lead a comfortable life in Rome and spend the weekends and a good part of their summer holidays in their holiday home in the countryside. While driving there, Susanna sees a young prostitute (Victoria Larchenko) being assaulted by a man by the side of the road. Suddenly, Susanna decides that she wants to give the young girl another life. But does the girl want that too?
