L'Ombra della Sera plot

Marc is deputy director at Pagni's transport company in Tuscany. He is in love with Eva, a young woman haunted by gloomy memories. Just before their wedding, Marc fires the employee Carla. He takes revenge by accusing Marc of sexual harassment in a radio broadcast. Eva, who happens to hear the program, does not give her fiancé a chance to explain the situation. She runs off. Marc tries to find her again, but in the meantime he also has the police on his heels, because his boss is trying to put an illegal poison transport in his shoes.
