L'Astragale plot

Nineteen-year-old Anne tries to escape from prison, but when she jumps off the wall, she breaks her ankle and is picked up by a burglar, with whom she starts a relationship. He places Anne with a couple in the countryside, but soon the pain in her foot gets so bad that she has to have surgery.
