L'Agnese Va a Morire plot
After the deportation of her disabled husband to a concentration camp, Agnes decides to oppose the German regime. When she kills a Nazi, she is forced into hiding. Agnes decides to join a group of Partisans. Over time, she becomes a kind of mother to the group. She takes care of them, cooks for them and does other housework. While she takes on that role, Agnes also has to be careful not to be discovered by the Germans.
