Kubrador plot

Jueteng is an immensely popular gambling game in the working-class areas of Manila. But it is also prohibited. Amelita is the woman who will collect the betting notes from the people and persuade the potential participants to participate again this time. However, she is far too soft and of good character for that job. So much so that the whole neighborhood takes advantage of her.
