Kriegsgericht plot

"Out of the Turmoil of Battle...The Terror of the Court Martial!"

1942. The cruiser 'Pommern' sank after a naval battle against the English, in which 1400 men disappeared into the deadly depths. Hours later, a German submarine takes three survivors on board. At home the 'heroes' are decorated and celebrated, but the court officer Brenner thinks all this is suspicious. Meticulously he collects data and has First Lieutenant Düren, Ensign Stahmer and Sailor Hinze arrested. The sea has set them free, but the iron law of "wartime desertion" is ruthlessly punished by death.
