Kozijat Rog plot
In 17th century Bulgaria, under Ottoman rule, the wife of the shepherd Kara Tvan is raped and murdered by four burglars, in front of their daughter Maria. The shepherd decides to take the law into his own hands, and raises his daughter like a son. He trains her to become a cold-blooded fighting machine for the next nine years, to help him take revenge on the four. However, a change takes place in Mary. She becomes aware of her femininity, and she also falls in love with a young shepherd. Slowly the cool Maria thaws and her feelings of hatred disappear. When her father discovers the new Maria, he tries to bring her back into his world of hatred and revenge, with disastrous results.
