"The World Had Watched. But Few Remembered."
Natalia, a nun from a remote Russian monastery, comes to Moscow 17 years after a terrorist attack at the Dubrovka Theater. She was sent there to organize a memorial evening for the victims of the attack that took place in October 2002. Natalia and her family witnessed the attack. The organizers and participants of the commemoration evening or the Conference (as they had to call it officially) are perceived as a burden by the rest of society. By following the chronology of events, as told by a few participants in the memorial evening, we learn the dark details of Natalia's personal story.
