Kejsaren plot
Around the turn of the century, a number of Polish guest workers were brought to Sweden as strike-breakers, but they were never integrated into society. A somewhat moronic half-Polish boy goes to his homeland just before the Second World War, but cannot cope with the transition from rural isolation to urban chaos and the threat of war and flees mentally in delusions of grandeur.
