Kazan plot

Kazan, a dog who returns to life in the wild when his master is killed, becomes docile when he becomes loyal to a girl in distress. Pierre Radisson is a trapper. His oldest son is a member of the Northwest Mounted Police. His youngest son and daughter come north to see their father. The boy turns out to be of a worthless sort, who spends his time drinking and gambling. The girl is left to her fate. When she receives word that her older brother has been killed and that her father is dying in his cabin in the hills, she must trust a stranger, Deeley, to accompany her on the journey. On the way, they are attacked by a pack of wolves led by the dog Kazan.
