Kanawa plot
A classic Noh drama is juxtaposed with a modern update to the story. The man is now a car salesman, his young mistress a typist. The adulterer's wife retaliates by terrorizing the couple with a bombardment of phone calls, while supernatural powers also seem to be at play. The two decide to go to a holiday resort to avoid the phone calls.
