Kamienie na Szaniec plot
Rudy, Zośka and Alek are Polish youngsters full of ideals. They fall in love and want to get the most out of their lives. But one day this image will be torn apart. Warsaw is occupied by the Nazis. The only choice they have is to bow in humility or risk their lives. Despite lack of experience and weapons, they find the courage and strength to rise up against the Nazi occupation. They join a group of underground paramilitaries who call themselves "The Gray Rank". But then one of them is captured and tortured by the Germans. The others take part in a military action to free him.
