Jennie Jerome was born in the United States in 1845. She led an extraordinary life from her first meeting with Lord Randolph Churchill at the young age of 19 which was followed by their marriage. She also had a feud with the Prince of Wales, followed by her exile in Ireland, the death of Randolph and then two more marriages: the first to a man the same age as her son, the second to an even younger one!
