The Vampire Diaries plot
Four months after a tragic car accident ended their parents' lives, 17-year-old Elena Gilbert and her 15-year-old brother Jeremy try to rebuild their lives. They now live with their Aunt Jenna who is trying to make the best of it. As the school year begins, Elena and her friends are fascinated by mysterious new student Stefan Salvatore.
