Jalna plot
The Whiteoak family, a wealthy Canadian farming family, has been embroiled in a feud with the Vaughn family for decades. Rival brothers Piers and Eden Whiteoak cause uproar as they both bring their brides home. Piers is married to Maurice Vaughn's daughter Pheasant, while poet Eden has chosen the sensible and sensitive Alayne, whom he met in New York when his collection of poems was published. Both brides have a lot of trouble finding their place in the large family and their relationships.
