Ivan and the Dogs plot

Based on the true story of Ivan Mishukov who walks out of his Moscow apartment at the age of four and then lives on the streets of Moscow for two years. In the recession-ravaged city, the world is dominated by hardship and violence. When social collapse is marked by extreme poverty, cruelty and selfishness, the homeless child's only hope is to turn to stray dogs for protection and warmth. He is adopted by the animals.
