"He's all man in the ring -- or anywhere!"
In Coaltown, Pennsylvania, miner Coke Mason tries to build a better future for himself. He buys a radio shop and marries Rose Warren. His gambling-addicted brother thinks Coke has a brighter future as a boxer because he knows that when Coke fights, he gets a rage that has earned him the nickname "Iron Man". Since Rose also likes the idea of a lot of money, Coke reluctantly decides to do it. He fears his "killer instinct", which makes him both loved and hated by the public. Can Coke conquer his personal demons before he kills someone in the ring?
