Insumisa plot
In the early 19th century, Enrique Faber travels to Cuba to look for his son. Faber is successful as a doctor, but his high-pitched voice and soft features make him mistrusted. In fact, Enrique is Enriqueta, who decided to live as a man so that she could study medicine and become a doctor, at a time when that was not yet possible for women. Based on a true story.
