Inocência plot
Paternal authority and moral prejudice predominated in Brazil in the second half of the 19th century. A girl from the countryside falls in love with a young doctor, who stays in her house for a few days. He loves her too and they start an affair, but they have to keep it a secret because her father doesn't want his daughter to marry him.
