Inn i Mørket plot

"One accident. Two families. One truth."

On a dark autumn evening, eight-year-old Nicolai is hit by neighbor Jan and is hospitalized with serious injuries. Jan claims that he appeared out of nowhere, but Nicolai's father Svein is not convinced. Although his wife wants him to focus on Nicolai, Svein confronts Jan anyway. Meanwhile, Jan keeps a facade to the outside world and tries to reassure his son, who was in the car with him at the time of the accident.
