"Their Love was all these things"
It's early 1939 when British Jennifer Whittredge and the wealthy Mrs. Bromley travels to Poland to buy antiques for Bromley's antique shop in London. Jennifer meets the Polish Count Stephen Orwid, with whom she has dinner and visits Warsaw. The Earl wants to marry her, but his family is against it, because of Jennifer's lower social background. When Jennifer wants to leave Poland again, the count stops her at the station and then marries her. They modernize the Orwid farm with tractors to increase production, but then Nazi Germany invades Poland.
