Il Principe Ribelle plot

Sicily trembles under the yoke of Habsburg law. While the Prince of Villamare puts his sword at the service of the foreign ruler, the Prince of Sant'Agata leads the patriots. Everyone, the populace and the clergy, protects the people of Sant'Agata - nicknamed "the wolves". But unfortunately the promised support from the Spaniards is not forthcoming and the ranks of the patriots are being thinned little by little. To save one of his supporters - who was captured to be executed - from the gallows, the Prince of Sant'Agata kidnaps the beautiful daughter of the governor in order to exchange her for that man...
