Il Padre e lo Straniero plot

Diego, an employee at the Department of Justice, has a severely disabled son. In the rehabilitation center where he takes him, he meets the Arab Walid. They become friends, united by their shared grief and love for their sons. They have a strong yet mysterious bond. Walid always drives expensive cars and doesn't reveal anything about his life outside. Diego, on the other hand, begins to discover another world through Walid, through which he understands himself better, and which helps him escape the malaise of his 'normal' life. When Walid disappears and the Secret Service arrives, Diego embarks on a perilous search for the father and son who have become indispensable to him.
