Il Grande Fuoco plot

The beautiful thirty-year-old Roman Anna is married to Count Alessio Capilupi, who is much older than she is. They have an eight-year-old son. The marriage is not exactly exciting. Through her brother Stefano, who is a kind of playboy, she gets to know Brentano. He goes to great lengths to seduce her.
