Idda plot

Sofia, a children's dance teacher, returns to her hometown to meet her childhood friend Adele, who works as a photographer and runs her father's shop. After years of looking forward to it, the two plan to finally climb Mount Etna, an active volcano on the east coast of Sicily. While Sofia enjoys the seemingly carefree relaxation that the reunion brings, Adele quietly keeps her own feelings of resentment hidden, until they have no other way out than to erupt.
