I Stefania plot

Stefania is staying in a penitentiary, but plans to escape. However, when Dr. Daponte comes by, she changes her mind because she used to be in love with him as a student. She writes him a letter explaining what happened to her and how she ended up in the penitentiary. The doctor then offers to marry her and get her out of there.
