30-year-old Szabolcs is on the run with 9-year-old girl Tess. On the ferry they take, he tries to hide the girl. On the boat, Tess discovers in a newspaper that her parents have died. Shocked by this news, she becomes very obsessive. Together they end up in a small house by the sea, where they try to survive in the daily worries. As Tess learns to express her feelings through her creativity, Szabolcs slowly accepts his new role in her life. But can he keep her hidden from the outside world?
